FAQ

Is owning a Sphynx difficult?

Sphynx cats require more care than many breeds, including regular bathing, ear cleaning, and temperature monitoring. Most owners find this manageable with a routine.

Are Sphynx kittens truly hairless?

Most Sphynx kittens have very fine hair on areas like the face, ears, and tail, giving them a soft, velvety feel rather than being completely bald.

How are your kittens raised?

Kittens are raised in a family home with frequent human interaction, exposure to children and other animals, and early care routines such as litter training and grooming.

What other animals are your kittens exposed to?

Kittens are exposed to family dogs of various sizes and temperaments to help them develop confidence and social skills.

Will my kitten come with registration papers?

No. Kittens are sold as pets only and do not include registration papers.

Will my kitten come spayed or neutered?

No. Kittens are sold with a spay/neuter contract. Veterinarians typically recommend the procedure between 4–6 months of age.

How soon can I bring my kitten home?

Kittens usually go home at a minimum of 10 weeks of age, provided they are healthy and thriving.

Do you allow in-home visits?

Do you offer any congenital health guarantees?

Yes. Snuggly Sphynx guarantees that your kitten will be free from life-threatening congenital or hereditary defects for a period of one (1) year from the kitten’s date of birth.

If, within the first year of life, a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a congenital or hereditary condition that significantly impacts the kitten’s quality of life or results in death, documentation from the attending veterinarian and supporting medical records must be provided to Snuggly Sphynx for review.

Upon verification, Snuggly Sphynx will provide a replacement kitten of comparable value from a future available litter. Veterinary expenses, diagnostic costs, transportation costs, and emotional damages are not covered under this guarantee.

This guarantee does not cover illnesses, injuries, parasites, infectious diseases, environmental factors, neglect, improper care, or conditions that develop after the kitten leaves our care and are not determined to be congenital or hereditary in nature.

By accepting ownership of the kitten, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this guarantee.
